Terms of Use

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use Avelle. Provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it results from our failure to protect the service.

What Avelle provides

Avelle is an organization, reflection, planning, and community platform. Features may include Today planning, routines, goals, trackers, Notes and journals, household planning, career tools, Shared spaces, Community discussions, calendar displays, and optional Premium tools. We may improve, add, retire, or modify features while working to preserve member data and provide reasonable notice of material changes.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you create. You give Avelle only the limited permission needed to store, process, display, back up, and synchronize that content so we can operate the service. Content you deliberately place in a Shared space or Circle will be visible to the relevant signed-in members. You are responsible for having the right to share anything you upload or post.

Acceptable use

Do not use Avelle to break the law, violate another person's rights, threaten or harass people, distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or overload the service, impersonate someone, or publish unlawful, deceptive, or abusive material. Community members must follow the Circle conduct agreement. We may remove content or restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to protect members, the service, or legal obligations.

Shared spaces and connected services

Joining a Shared space allows its members to see information intentionally placed there. Keep invitation codes private and leave spaces you no longer use. Optional third-party connections and handoffs, including Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and Instacart, are governed by the permissions or review screen shown when you use them and by the third party's own terms. Avelle's calendar connections are display-only: Avelle does not create, edit, or delete calendar events. You may disconnect them at any time. An Instacart handoff does not buy, substitute, or add anything to a cart without your deliberate review and action.

Premium and Apple purchases

Some tools require Premium. Prices, trial terms, renewal timing, and cancellation instructions are shown before purchase. iPhone subscriptions are processed by Apple and managed through your Apple Account. Unless otherwise stated, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the iPhone app. Consumer rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.

Information, not professional advice

Avelle supports planning and reflection; it is not medical, mental-health, legal, tax, investment, or financial advice. Educational tools and community discussions cannot account for your individual circumstances. Use qualified professionals when a decision requires professional judgment, and seek emergency help through appropriate local services when needed.

Availability and responsibility

We work to keep Avelle secure and reliable, but no online service is uninterrupted or error-free. Use available export and backup tools for information you cannot afford to lose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Avelle is provided “as is” and we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses. Nothing here excludes responsibility that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Ending use

You may stop using Avelle or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, security threats, fraud, or legal requirements. Provisions that logically continue after termination—including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations—will remain in effect.

Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms as Avelle evolves. We will post the updated date and provide additional notice when a change is material. These Terms are governed by the laws of Massachusetts, United States, without overriding any mandatory protections available where you live.
